Working in the Facilities section of the Embassy, the cleaner is responsible for all cleaning activities throughout the Embassy buildings on the Embassy Compound, the Embassy Warehouse, the long term leased Public Affairs offices and all vacant Government Owned Properties (housing).

Working in the Facilities section of the Embassy, the cleaner is responsible for all cleaning activities throughout the Embassy buildings on the Embassy Compound, the Embassy Warehouse, the long term leased Public Affairs offices and all vacant Government Owned Properties (housing).
Duties
* Cleaning of all office corridors, eating areas, rest rooms, kitchenettes, health section, outdoor furnishings, windows, outdoor common areas.
* Perform all cleaning operations according to pre-determined schedules, access restrictions and the availability of escorts.
* Perform all cleaning operations as requested through work orders, regular inspections, and phone calls.
* As directed, may also undertake limited cleaning operations in short term leased properties.
Skills and Experience
We are looking for people with a variety of skills and experience. Applicants must meet either of the following options to qualify.
Option 1:
* Three (3) years commercial cleaning experience is required.
* Completion of High School education (Year 10) is required.
* Completion of recognised training in commercial cleaning with an industry recognised trade certificate is required.
* Must have a valid drivers license, held for a minimum of 5 years.
Option 2:
* Two (2) years commercial cleaning experience is required.
* Completion of High School education (Year 10) is required.
* Completion of recognised training in commercial cleaning with an industry recognised trade certificate is required.
* Must have a valid drivers license, held for a minimum of 5 years.
Option 3:
* Five (5) years commercial cleaning experience is required.
* Completion of High School education (Year 10) is required.
* Must have a valid drivers license, held for a minimum of 5 years.
