The Role This opportunity is for an experienced legal assistant to join the firm's Recoveries team, based in the Sydney office.
Key responsibilities include: Preparing correspondence and legal documents, including amendments and word processing.
Organising briefs to counsel.
Opening and closing files.
Supporting business development by assisting with presentation preparation.
Managing billing processes, including drafting, editing, and finalising bills.
Scheduling appointments and managing diaries.
Reconciling expenses.
Liaising with courts, tribunals, government bodies, and external service providers.
Monitoring workflow and diarising key dates.
Assisting with client reporting.
The Candidate The ideal candidate will have: A minimum of 4 years' experience in a legal administration role.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
A professional demeanour with the ability to handle confidential matters with discretion and integrity.
Strong client service skills and a focus on excellence.
Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
A proactive attitude and a willingness to contribute to a busy, collaborative team environment.
