A brilliant opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Officer to join their high performing diverse team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will have a broad scope of responsibilities including:
* Managing and overseeing daily financial and accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable and raising purchase orders.
* Prepare monthly balance sheet, P&L reconciliations and reports
* Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
* Assist in processing fortnightly payroll, ensuring employees details are up to date
* Ensure all accounting practices adhere to company policies, industry standards, and relevant accounting regulations
* Drive process improvement and system enhancement initiatives
* Undertake ad hoc tasks as required by management
To be considered for this role you will have at least 3-4 years' experience working in the finance department within a large organisation, degree qualified and ideally commencing study towards a CPA/CA. You will also have excellent communication skills, be an analytical thinker and problem solver with high attention to detail and enjoy working as part of a collaborative and committed team.
