The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial and human resource operations of the company, ensuring compliance with workplace and accounting standards and regulations, and providing financial analysis and reporting to senior management. You will work directly with the founders of the business to ensure compliance and smooth running of all financial operations whilst completing day to day transactional work.At Green Life We ValueAccountability - We take ownership.Collaboration - We help each other to succeed.Empathy - We care.Enjoyment - We have fun along the way.Integrity - We always do what’s right.Leadership - We all lead.Excellence - We are committed to excellence.Innovation - We keep challenging the norm.ResponsibilitiesManage the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including cashflow, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.Prepare and analyse weekly and month financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Prepare and lodge BAS Statements, Payroll Tax and IAS.Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.Issue Employment Contracts and Management of Policies.Manage a direct report.Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial professionals.QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.CPA or CA equivalent certification preferred.5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.Experience with financial analysis and reporting, including budgeting and forecasting.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Part time hours may be considered for the right candidate.
