Relief Maternal and Child Health Nurse

We are seeking a passionate individual on a casual basis to join our early childhood health team. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing a flexible maternal and child health service which maximises the health and wellbeing, learning, development and safety outcomes for all children 0–6 years and their families.
To be successful in this role you will need
Qualifications
* Current registration as both a registered nurse and midwife on the AHPRA register.
* Post graduate diploma / masters in child and family health nursing.
* Driver licence valid in Victoria.
* Employee working with children check.
Experience
Extensive knowledge of the maternal and child health service and demonstrated understanding of current service guidelines and practices.
Key selection criteria
1. Demonstrate the ability to establish an effective working rapport and positive relationships with a wide range of families.
2. Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member of a multi-disciplinary team as well as working independently.
3. Knowledge of, and experience in working with high-risk families and providing targeted actions, interventions and/or supports to improve outcomes.
