Job Description We are seeking a Registered Nurse Team Lead to provide support and direction to HCA's staff on site at Darwin's Immigration Detention Centre, located on the Darwin Airport precinct. Leading a small but capable team of medical professionals, you will assume managerial responsibility of the primary health care team whilst providing support to the Health Services Manager, based in Adelaide. Day to day responsibilities of this important leadership role include: Oversee coordination of timely access to the most suitable health services Provide clinical leadership to a multidisciplinary primary health care team Supervise the intake and referral process ensuring delivery of high-quality clinical care Budgetary management of clinical resources and supplies Efficient management of staff rosters in line with HCA's service delivery Collaborate with a wide range of internal/external stakeholders This role is part of a significant government project for HCA.It provides an opportunity to make a difference to people going through a particularly challenging period in their lives and will have a positive impact on immigration detainees.
