We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Litigation Associate with 3 years of PQE To join a Commercial Disputes & Insolvency team in a modern firm. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex, high-value cases while collaborating with a supportive team of experienced professionals. Key Responsibilities: Commercial Disputes: Represent clients in a wide range of commercial disputes, including contractual breaches, tort claims, shareholder disputes, and partnership disagreements. Draft and review pleadings, motions, and other legal documents related to commercial litigation. Develop and execute litigation strategies for clients in Supreme and Federal Court litigation. Appear and/or instruct in Court. Insolvency and Restructuring: Advise clients, including creditors, debtors, and insolvency practitioners, on complex insolvency-related matters, including liquidation, administration, and restructuring. Represent clients in insolvency proceedings, both in court and out of court. Provide strategic advice on distressed business situations, including debt recovery, asset protection, and restructuring options. Draft documents related to insolvency, such as winding-up petitions, bankruptcy petitions, and deeds of company arrangement. Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by delivering practical and commercially-driven advice. Manage a varied caseload and provide clients with regular updates on developments in their cases. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with senior partners and associates on high-profile and complex cases. Mentor and support junior associates and trainees in their development. Contribute to knowledge-sharing and internal training sessions on key developments in commercial dispute resolution and insolvency law. Skills & Qualifications: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and a proactive attitude. Excellent organisational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to apply legal principles to specific client situations. A high level of professionalism. Willingness to learn and grow within the firm. Proficiency with using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Qualified Lawyer with admission to practice law in NSW and Federal Courts.
