About the Role
We are seeking two (2) friendly and enthusiastic people to join Main Roads as Network Operations Officers in our Wheatbelt Region based in our Northam Regional Office.
As a Network Operations Officer you will investigates traffic and road safety issues and develops recommendations that contribute to the management of traffic and safety. These roles assist the region in investigating, evaluating and recommending solutions to a variety of traffic and road safety issues that include signs, road lining and markings, heavy vehicles, roadside facilities and advertising, intersection treatments and vulnerable road users.
These roles also assist in the management of the road planning process including corridor management, sub-division and development applications and project planning clearance.
About You
To be successful you will need to possess experience in traffic management and road safety as well as have excellent data management, investigation, analysis and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal skills are also essential for these roles. As our customers are important to us, you will be working closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders. The successful applicants will need to demonstrate ability to develop positive professional relationships with community members, local government, transport operators, police and other stakeholder groups.
