As an Operations & Performance Engineer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of various electrical assets, with a focus on Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Photovoltaic (PV) systems and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include conducting desktop analyses of site performance, coordinating maintenance activities, managing procurement, and facilitating warranty replacements. Your expertise in remote troubleshooting and reporting will be essential in maintaining operational efficiency and transparency

As Operations & Performance Engineer you will
Review performance metrics and track alarms and faults across all sites
Ensure timely response and resolution to maintain operational efficiency
Generate and manage site visit tickets for scheduled maintenance
Prepare and distribute maintenance reports summarizing activities and outcomes
Facilitate the integration of new sites into the Performance Dashboard and ensure seamless transition of data and monitoring processes
Address site callouts promptly, including warranty replacements, to minimize downtime and disruptions
Ensure effective resolution of reported faults
Maintain detailed records of fault history and document all communication, observations, and decisions throughout the resolution process
Document replacement order details for future reference and inventory management
You will be successful in the role if you possess:
Degree in Electrical Engineering
Hands-on experience maintaining C&I PV systems and BESS infrastructure
Solar Accreditation
PVSyst and Procore experience
Proficiency in remotely diagnosing and troubleshooting issues
Strong skills in reporting and documentation
Experience coordinating maintenance activities and managing procurement
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Well developed organisation skills
Ability to work independently or as part of team
