Strategic Adviser - Digital and ICT InvestmentsThis position sits within the Health and Social Service Team and is part of the Investment Advice and Contestability Branch.The Strategic Adviser is responsible for ensuring that digital and ICT investment proposals are robust and meet the whole-of-government digital standard before the proposal is presented to government for consideration.The key duties of the position are:Gain a whole of government perspective on digital and ICT investment proposals by working as part of a team to engage with stakeholders from across the DTA and government.Undertake comprehensive reviews of budget submissions to provide advice to government in relation to the alignment of the ICT investment with government policies and standards.Support agencies through the Budget process.Review business cases for high value, high risk investments and provide actionable feedback and risk mitigation advice to agencies.Provide an assessment to government informing investment decision making.Reduce program risk prior to commencement by working with agencies and investment advisors to identify and mitigate ICT investment risk, improve outcomes, and reduce cost and schedule overrun.To be eligible for employment with the DTA, applicants must be an Australian citizen.#J-18808-Ljbffr
