DescriptionWe are looking for a talented Field Service Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our high performing field service team in Tamworth. The Gunnedah Basin mining region is home to over 170 Cummins High Horsepower engines, powering a range of mining equipment. And you could be the first responder to fix and repair these engines.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
First responder to breakdown events
Fleet maintenance
Capturing engine data
Fault diagnostics
Diverse range engine repairs, both major and minor
Working autonomously as well as having the ability to work in a great team environment
Work with other major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)
The face of Cummins at the customer site`
ResponsibilitiesTo be successful in this role you will need the following: Field service experience preferred coupled with heavy duty engine experienceRelevant trade qualification (Heavy Diesel preferred but not necessary)Strong engine diagnostic experienceThe ability to work autonomously/remotely for extended periodsA genuine commitment to workplace safetyA valid driver’s licenseGood interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills At Cummins, we are an equal opportunity employer dedicated to diversity in the workplace.
