The SIL Facilitator The SIL (Supported Independent Living) Facilitator performs an integral role in ensuring the efficient running of the SIL House by co-ordinating staff, clinical professionals, visitors, Just Better Care services and most importantly, our participants. Provide guidance, education and direction to staff in relation to tasks that require completion during services. Oversee general maintenance of house hold facilities. Ensure compliance with NDIS and relevant regulations applicable to SIL house. Understand customer service needs or preferences, ensuring all relevant information is accessible for team members and service providers. Identify and participate in personal professional development. Ensure compliance with all Just Better Care policies and procedures, statutory and contractual requirements in relation to management of service delivery. Manage communication with key stakeholders, internally and externally. Apply and uphold principles of equity and anti-discrimination in the workplace and adhere to organisational and legislative Health, Safety and Environment requirements. Any other duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization. Minimum Requirements: Registered Nurses / Enrolled Nurses Qualifications in Community Services, Human Services, Nursing or equivalent. Previous experience supervising, supporting and training staff. Experience maintaining computerised customer information systems. Administrative and organisational skills. Written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to contribute positively to the team. Current and clear Criminal Record Check. Current Working with Children Check (where required in accordance with state based legislation). Current Drivers Licence. Current NDIS Workers Screening Clearance. High level communication skills. Planning and organisation. Resilience in a fast paced environment. Complex problem solving.
