You’ll be working in a team committed to culturally appropriate, holistic healthcare. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the health and well-being of mothers and children in the community.Further Details From $101,700.00 up to $116,000.00 per annum + superannuation Permanent position Fully self-contained, furnished and secure accommodation provided! Office hours only! Subsidised rent from $285 (single) to $400 (family) per week! Annual airfare allowance 5 weeks of annual leave, with an additional 2 weeks of leave over the Christmas period! Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive midwifery care and health education, including antenatal and postnatal services. Provide primary healthcare to children aged 0-15. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver culturally sensitive and client-focused services. Support early intervention programs, including FASD prevention and QUIT Smoking in pregnancy initiatives. Collaborate with external agencies to achieve optimal client outcomes. Selection Criteria Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA as an RN/RM Strong knowledge of Aboriginal health issues and the ability to provide culturally appropriate care Experience in a rural or remote health setting is highly regarded Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills Must have full working rights for Australia (i.e. Permanent Resident or Citizen of Australia/New Zealand, or a current, valid visa with no restrictions).
