In the role of Temporary Senior Engineer (Civil), you will play a key role ensuring that the procurement, design, and construction of the project meets TMR's objectives, standards, and specifications for the project outcomes. About The Role This role will be involved in a broad range of tasks, which include: Provide support and advice on the planning and design process, to ensure delivery of project outcomes, value for money, and best practice are achieved. Determine the engineering requirements, including materials, critical components, and systems, involved in supporting project management and delivery. Maintain and apply all relevant standards, policies, guidelines, and legislative requirements necessary for the design and construction of road infrastructure projects. Skills And Experience A Washington Accord accredited four-year degree in Civil Engineering or equivalence recognised by Engineers Australia or equivalent. Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) is mandatory for temporary appointment to the position. Must be eligible to work in Australia. Current holder of Class C driver's licence. Substantial experience in driving accountability and achieving outcomes through careful planning and organisation. Sound knowledge of governance practices, and ability to proactively analyse information to identify risks. Strong organisational and planning skills, ensuring accountability and successful achievement of desired outcomes. Analytical abilities to assess information and proactively identify risks to planned team activities, showcasing sound governance skills. Demonstrates resilience and adaptability to prioritise tasks and resources across competing activities. Proactive and initiative-taking approach to collaborate with diverse individuals and exhibits a high level of accountability to drive successful outcomes. Project Management - Integration - demonstrates sound knowledge of project management integration and applies the methodology with guidance.
