Monday through Friday with occasional weekend work, including morning and afternoon shifts.Key functions include:Provide exceptional customer/patient service by safely transporting/lifting patients, communicating with clarity and empathy, collecting and delivering specimens, equipment and consumables between departments / wards, and by restocking supplies and consumables.Prioritise patient safety by ensuring patient transportation equipment (including wheelchairs, portable oxygen and suction) is safe and in good working order, and by being an active member of the emergency response team.Act as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team by promoting a professional and positive team culture and by liaising with the emergency response team, nursing team and other staff to create an experience that makes a difference.Demonstrate professional practice by working according to Healthscope’s policies and processes, code of conduct and by participating in yearly performance appraisals and mandatory education.Maintain skills and standards of customer service and ensure patient confidentiality and privacy are maintained at all times.Support Healthscope’s safety and quality improvement and achievement of accreditation by actively participating in team meetings and quality activities.
