About the opportunity
An exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Team Leader is now available at Glendale Residential Aged Care Facility in Mount Louisa!
Reporting to the Regional Asset Manager, this role will ensure the condition and appearance of our facility are of the highest standard to provide a pleasant and safe environment for residents, staff and visitors.
* Hands-on repairs and maintenance
* Management and co-ordination of maintenance of the building and its environment
* High level of customer service to residents
* Maintenance of records and reports
* Budget management
* Comply with current legislative standards around maintenance, aged care workplace health & safety and manual handling
What do we need from you?
* Knowledge of maintenance procedure and commercial and domestic construction practice
* Experience in Contractor Management
* Knowledge & application of relevant legislation requirements, codes & standards
* Understanding of, and empathy towards aged persons and their aged care living requirements
* Relevant Certificate IV qualification and/or significant relevant experience
* Valid working rights and open manual driver’s licence (Class C)
