About the role: As a Mechanical Team Leader, you will: Lead and take part in Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) training, communication sessions and toolbox talks, ensuring that SHE is the first consideration in maintenance activities Ensure Risk Assessments are correctly completed Safety observations are undertaken frequently and mentor/coach team members where necessary.
Manage day to day work responsibilities for site mechanical workers Ensure that plant equipment is inspected and maintained to an appropriate level to achieve budgeted plant performance KPI's Identify possible cost reductions in areas of control Improve plant reliability performance towards long term targets by ensuring a high quality of work is constantly performed Provide support and resources for plant breakdowns Provide input to planners so that they can develop and deliver the weekly plan Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and maximise value of maintenance spend Identify areas of improvement for direct reports, including app
