This role is instrumental in building and strengthening an ever-growing BYD network nationally.The Dealer Selections and Contract Specialist will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives, seeking alignment and providing influence on final decisions concerning the oversight of network expansion, ensuring all dealership sites nationally align with the BYD brand’s high standards.This role will be responsible for:Support in the development & implementation of a comprehensive Network Strategy plan establishing a blueprint for a strong and sustainable BYD network that will then be ratified by the Heads of Network Development.Identify and evaluate potential dealers, facilitating the agreement, on-boarding and induction process to expand the national dealer footprint.Collaborate closely with stakeholders including the Heads of Network Development both in Australia and the global team abroad at HQ, to review and approve designs and architectural plans for new dealer builds, ensuring brand consistency across all sites progressing our corporate vision of quality and sustainability.Oversee and be the first contact point for retailer applications and activation processes, ensuring all dealerships meet and maintain brand retail representation standards.Identify and assess new market opportunities for dealership expansion, leveraging market data to support site selection and dealer recruitment decisions.Communicate progress to internal and external stakeholders proactively and effectively.Support in the facilitation of construction and architectural approval processes to ensure timely and on-budget delivery.Develop stakeholder contracts incorporating all facets of the business interaction into meaningful business arrangements to foster strong partnerships focused on sustainable, meaningful growth.Prospect new dealer site opportunities utilizing your automotive relationships, ensuring optimal business partnerships between BYD and dealer groups.Key RequirementsYou have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.5+ years’ experience in the automotive industry having worked for an OEM.Strong experience managing relationships with franchised automotive dealers, suppliers, and overseas colleagues.Excellent project management skills with experience in site procurement, evaluation, selection and franchise standard implementation.Excellent presentation and communication skills, ability to present in smaller and larger forums.A passion for innovation and business development in new markets.Strong proficiency in all MS Office applications in addition to other project management software applications and tools.Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.Ability to drive discussions with strong negotiation skills.Confident conflict resolution and negotiation skills are advisable.Ability to work proactively with confidence.Resilience in a diverse and challenging environment.If you believe you are a good fit for the role, please don't hesitate to click on APPLY and submit your updated resume.BYD Australia is under rapid expansion with plenty more opportunities to arise.
