Each year we engage with over 3000 people through a local staff group, who represent many of the language groups connected to country, right across the Kimberley region.Centacare Kimberley is committed to providing quality services in a way that empowers people, and enables them to exercise self-determination.About the OpportunityCentacare Kimberley is looking for a Reintegration Support Worker based in Broome, WA.In this vital role, you will provide case-managed reintegration support to individuals leaving correctional facilities, helping them successfully transition back into their communities. You will work within a person-centered framework to connect clients with essential social services, housing, employment, and education opportunities.More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:Providing structured case management and reintegration supportConducting prison visitations on a weekly or fortnightly basisCoordinating transport and logistical support for released individualsLiaising with government agencies and service providers to support clientsEnsuring accurate record-keeping and data entry in alignment with service guidelinesProviding culturally appropriate support to Aboriginal clientsParticipating in community engagement and advocacy effortsAbout YouTo qualify, you will need the ability to obtain Security Clearance through the Department of Justice.
