As a Pipe Crew Foreman, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality civil works, leading a team of pipelayers, operators, and labourers. This role requires hands-on experience in sewer, stormwater, and water mains installation, as well as a strong understanding of the SEQ Code. Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise a team of pipelayers, excavator operators, and labourers, ensuring safe and efficient operations. Manage daily tasks and site activities, including resource allocation and scheduling to meet project deadlines. Oversee installation of sewer, stormwater, and water mains reticulation systems, ensuring all work aligns with project specifications. Conduct inspections to verify quality standards, addressing any issues promptly. Utilise levelling tools to ensure accurate pipe and infrastructure installation. Interpret construction plans and blueprints to guide the team in executing work accurately. Maintain a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations for all team members. Apply SEQ code knowledge to meet local standards and requirements. Coordinate with supervisors and project managers, providing progress updates and addressing any challenges. Provide guidance and support to team members, encouraging skill development and continuous improvement. Our Ideal Candidate: Experience in installing sewer, stormwater, and water mains reticulation systems. Valid Australian driver’s licence, White Card, and reliable transport. Strong knowledge of the SEQ code and proficiency in accurate level shooting. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints. Demonstrated leadership skills and team management experience (Foreman role). High-risk work tickets and other relevant qualifications are highly desirable.
