DP World Brisbane is seeking a proactive and experienced professional with a passion for maintenance planning and equipment management.
Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Planning Superintendent and play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our terminal.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and promote a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with site, corporate, and statutory safety initiatives, and conducting incident investigations as required.
Manage and optimise the Maximo Maintenance Management System to ensure equipment maintenance schedules meet OEM and statutory standards.
Develop and implement short- and long-term maintenance plans that align with budgetary requirements and operational goals.
Prepare, monitor, and manage maintenance project scopes, including parts, labour, tools, and methodology for significant repairs.
Analyse maintenance data to identify potential problem areas, propose improvements, and provide insightful reports with graphical outputs.
Oversee contractor management, including ensuring service agreements are in place, maintaining an accurate contractor database, and optimizing contractor resources.
Provide on-call support to a 24/7 operation, addressing major maintenance issues and ensuring workforce effectiveness.
Monitor and manage maintenance costs, ensuring alignment with budgets and achieving KPIs related to equipment availability, MTBF, and repair turnaround times.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience: Extensive experience in managing heavy equipment workshops and large technician/trades workforces.
Proficiency in maintenance management software and computerized systems, with strong technical and administrative skills.
Demonstrated expertise in purchasing, inventory control, budget preparation, and expenditure management.
In-depth knowledge of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance management for heavy plant and equipment.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to make sound, logical operational decisions independently.
Familiarity with OHS Acts, regulations, codes of practice, and related plant and equipment legislation.
Highly developed maintenance planning and management skills, with the capability to implement change strategies effectively.
Strong customer service orientation, teamwork, and concern for quality, with a focus on achieving organisational objectives.
