This combination of local expertise and global capability positions Iberdrola to be a leading long-term developer, owner and operator of offshore wind in Australia, accelerating the transition to net zero emissions.Reporting to the General Manager - Offshore Development, the Senior Manager - Planning and Environmental Approvals is a key role in Iberdrola’s Renewable Offshore Wind team that is developing Iberdrola Australia’s Aurora Offshore Wind Farm. The primary responsibility of this role will be obtaining all necessary offshore wind project planning and environmental approvals, including the preparation of development applications, the coordination of environmental studies, and undertaking compliance activities to facilitate the construction and operation of the Aurora Offshore Wind Farm. The incumbent will also be responsible for seamless coordination with stakeholder engagement and technical teams to achieve the successful and timely completion of development approval and compliance activities.To be successful in this position, you will have strong leadership and communication skills combined with the ability to influence and inspire executives and teams. An understanding of government approvals processes at both the Commonwealth and State level would be advantageous, especially when combined with strong planning and analysis skills and qualifications in environmental science, engineering, planning, environmental engineering, or other related disciplines.Davidson acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we work and live.
