The Opportunity
Jetstar’s Customer Experience team plays a pivotal role in supporting the operational excellence of our amazing Cabin Crew team. We are currently seeking a permanent full time Base Administrator to support our Manager, Cabin Crew located at Melbourne Airport.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our Manager, Cabin Crew and our Cabin Crew Leadership Team on day to day administrative and people elements for our Victorian and South Australian Cabin Crew bases. Your focus will be to ensure our administrative processes are efficiently implemented across our ports in Melbourne Tullamarine, Avalon and Adelaide, and that Cabin Crew queries are responded to or escalated to the relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
Reporting to our Manager, Cabin Crew, key responsibilities of this role include:
* Acting as a key point of contact and responding in a timely matter to a broad range of queries as the main point of contact for our VIC and SA bases
* Communicating crew performance and operational concerns to relevant stakeholders as required
* Providing administrative support to our Cabin Crew leaders (Crew Performance Managers)
* Acting as a critical representative of our Customer Experience team by building positive working relationships with key stakeholders
* Assisting with and becoming a key point of contact for transactional cabin crew queries
* Verification of expense claims and invoices
* Providing advice and resolution on payroll related issues and acting as first point of contact in resolving payroll queries as a point of contact with our payroll team
* Follow up and approval of requests for various entitlements or benefits for our Cabin Crew as per our team’s individual EBA’s.
* Providing general administrative support as required including uniforms, ASICs, car park passes, maintenance of base administration guides and general office supplies
* Proactively identifying ways to improve processes and better support our Cabin Crew
* Assisting with the Onboarding a recruitment process where required
* Ensuring operational manuals are distributed in a timely manner
* This is a very critical role in ensuring our teams success and we are seeking a very special individual to support our team!
We are seeking an individual with a passion for working with a large number of stakeholders, some of which you may see on a daily basis, and some who you are required to support remotely across varying locations. Most importantly, are seeking somebody who loves to work hard, loves the hustle and bustle of an airport environment and will love their job, our people and our company as much as we do!
We would love to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following skills/experience:
* Proven experience in a key Administrator role that demonstrates a combination of admin/organisation and management of multiple stakeholders
* Exposure/understanding of payroll processes (desired)
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* High level computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs
* High level attention to detail and ability to work on multiple tasks with competing deadlines
