About us Queensland Hydro was established by the Queensland Government to deliver long-duration pumped hydro energy storage projects so we can transition to a stable renewable energy future.Pumped hydro energy storage has a critical role in helping to meet the Queensland Government's renewable energy targets and Australia's Towards Net Zero goals by 2050.Queensland Hydro's proposed pumped hydro energy storage projects can deliver the ultimate assurance for the State's energy transition and play a defining role in securing a stable transition to renewable energy.Purpose Reporting to the Borumba Land Manager, the role will identify, negotiate and secure land access (including through negotiation and resolution) of land and tenure transactions, and active management of acquired properties.Delivering on specific work programs and strategy initiatives across the Land function are also key components of this role.This role is critical to enable the broader Queensland Hydro team to establish and maintain excellent and long-term relationships with landholders.The purpose of the Senior Land Advisor/Principal is to: Develop excellent, long-term relationships with landholders, tenants, community members, tenure manager, land agents, project field staff, investigations contractors, project service providers, valuers within or near Queensland Hydro's Borumba project; Develop and implement Queensland Hydro's approach to land access, securing tenure and property management that aligns with a broader approach to sustainability and builds local community trust; Manage land access planning activities including support to agreement making, permits to access or disturb, by engaging with the wider Queensland Hydro team and landowners;
