About the Role An exciting opportunity for an experienced Injury Recovery Advisor currently exists at CFA. You will effectively case manage a portfolio of CFA WorkCover & Volunteer compensation claims in a holistic, efficient and empathetic manner to achieve early injury recovery, return to work and appropriate compensation outcomes This rewarding position offers flexibility, with work from home arrangements and also flexible start and finish times. The role is unique in that there is a combination of employee claims and volunteer (self-funded compensation scheme) claims which will provide you with variety and opportunities for skills enhancement that is not available elsewhere. This is a highly consultative and compliance driven role and the CFA requires expertise across the following: Effective communication both written and verbal with internal/external stakeholders. Exceptional attention to detail coupled with time management and negotiation skills. Ability to source information to accurately manage claims relating to return to work, capacity and occupational rehabilitation. Undertake all claims management activities in accordance with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements. Identify improvements in processes and develop strategies and systems to manage the workload. Review and maintain estimates of the cost of claims based on the strategy for each claim. Record information in the claims database and claim files and make effective use of the database to assist claim management. Provide accurate reporting and information management. About You An industry related qualification or equivalent practical experience in the management of personal injury compensation claims. Excellent ability to work under pressure and prioritise work by systematically managing a volume caseload. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to a diverse range of clients. Experience and ability in interpreting and applying policy, procedure, regulations and legislation. Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build relationships and negotiate/influence the actions and attitudes of external and internal stakeholders. Ability to work effectively both autonomously and within a team environment.
