With knowledge and experience we encourage you to make a difference!About this OpportunityBased at either our Scoresby or South Brisbane Office and reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will lead a small team of Procurement Category Managers and have autonomy for leading sourcing activity and the management of strategic and critical contracts for Lactalis Australia.As an experienced end to end Procurement professional, you will be high calibre with a good track record of managing a spend for business-critical categories in the Ingredients and Co-manufacturing areas.Your strengths will be strategic procurement, stakeholder management, negotiation, lateral thinking, driving process improvement leading to continuous value chain improvement. You will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally.Key Accountabilities Include:Manage and develop the Ingredients and Co-manufacturing team (2 direct reports)Ensuring strategic sourcing and negotiation activities are aimed at securing the best competitive arrangements with suppliersEnsuring category management is implemented across multiple manufacturing site locationsCollaboration with suppliers to ensure continuous improvement activities are in place to promote innovation, service and cost improvementsEnsuring service level agreements and contracts are in place and managed to mitigate supply, servicing and pricing riskMonitoring, auditing and reporting on supplier performance to the wider business as requiredAlign with our global team for strategic directionThe successful applicant will possess:Tertiary qualifications in Procurement, Supply Chain or Business Management would be preferred but not essentialAt least 8 years’ experience within a Procurement/Supply Chain functionStrong relevant experience gained in a procurement environment (experience in Ingredients would be highly regarded)Experience in working with complex, multi-site operationsSuperior communication and interpersonal skills alongside the drive to see processes implemented and maintainedStrong planning, organizational and decision-making skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office software and SAP experience is essentialCIPSA qualifications would be highly regardedIf you are confident within your experience and have the ambition, drive and competency to succeed in this role and wish to join an impressive global business and be part of a healthy working environment, please submit your application including current resume by selecting 'Apply' and following the prompts.
