YOUR NEW ROLE In this key senior role, reporting to the Managing Partner+ Quality/Compliance Manager, you will thrive on the challenge +fulfilment of this full-spectrum role:Managing your own immigration practice/clients from taking initial enquiries, conversion of prospects to clients and providing legal advice including: visa options, eligibility, application merits, drafting submissions, preparing and lodging visa applications & liaising with immigration authorities bodies, responding to refusals, judicial reviews/appeals & attending court/tribunal.Mentoring/Training juniors if and when required.WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? WHO YOU ARE We are interested in hearing from you if you: Are a lawyer admitted in Victoria or NSW with a current UNRESTRICTED practising certificate (essential);Have MINIMUM 4+ years post-admission (or more up to senior associate/special counsel) in immigration law specifically with experience with partner visas (essential) and protection visas (preferable not essential);Have proven ability to highly autonomously manage your own cases from initial client enquiry to visa approval/grant in a busy fast-paced dead-line driven environment; are results driven, empathetic & passionate about human rights and making a positive impact on real people's lives.REFERENCE: MARIA YUN (******** )
