As the Clinical Coordinator of our combined Surgical & Rehabilitation Ward, you will be responsible for working with and supporting the Nurse Unit Manager and Clinical staff in a hands-on clinical capacity, achieving excellence in the delivery of patient care in line with best practice and legislative requirements. This critical role in a small hospital assists in the smooth running of the day-to-day operations of the wards as well as support the NUM in providing strategic direction to the unit.Skills And ExperienceEssential:Current APHRA registrationMinimum of 5 years previous experience in both surgical and medical/rehabilitation servicesExperience as a Team Leader/in charge positionExperience in providing education, preceptorship and training to staffExcellent customer service skillsProficient computer skills (Microsoft essential)Effective communication and interpersonal skillsDesirable:Ability to work with minimal supervisionProgressive & positive “can do” attitude with lateral problem-solving abilitiesAbility to provide leave relief to the NUMRemunerationOn offer is salary of $53.56 + superannuation, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
