Based at our North Adelaide Corporate Office, as a Quality and Service Improvement Officer you will be responsible for assisting clinical service improvement related activities at Helping Hand's residential homes.
This role will support systems to ensure effective clinical governance, continuous quality improvement, risk management and compliance.
This role will work with stakeholders across all of Helping Hand's residential care homes to develop, implement and track Residential Services' quality strategies and plans to provide operational advice and guidance.
This position will report to the Quality and Excellence Manager within the Residential Services portfolio and will work closely with the Residential Services Managers to provide leadership and guidance to the site management teams, nursing and all staff across the care homes.
You will establish effective working relationships with members of the Residential Leadership Team and Executive Manager Residential Services.
You'll also make an impact by: Providing quality and operational excellence and role modelling a customer-focused approach across all areas of the business.
Providing support to the Residential Leadership team to identify, access, interpret, analyse and action data to inform enhancements to our resident's quality of life.
Supporting the Residential sites during the assessment process of the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission during assessment or accreditation visits or preparation for same.
Supporting clinical leaders across the sites to undertake serious incident investigations, determine findings and implement recommendations.
Coordinating and supporting quality review processes to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to the site leadership team and/or line manager.
Coordinating and support the internal audit platform (Moving on Audits) to ensure adherence to best practice service delivery, legislation and standards and organisational policies and procedures.
Monitoring and reviewing clinical data collection, collation and analysis and clinical incidents and feedback to ensure organisational oversight and compliance.
Establishing and fostering constructive networks and working relationships with stakeholders across the organisation and collaborating with teams to ensure alignment of efforts toward strategic and quality improvement goals What you'll bring To succeed in this role, you will have: Hold an Australian Health Practitioner Regulations Agency (AHPRA) qualification as a Registered Nurse Have at least three years' experience post AHPRA registration Have an excellent understanding of quality assurance and auditing processes Be proficient in data analysis and reporting Be able to demonstrate proven experience in quality management in the aged care or health care sector Be able to demonstrate problem-solving skills to manage competing priorities, provide sound advice and recommendations Be proficient in the operation of Windows-based software applications and internet technologies Be able to work on a range of initiatives in a dynamic, changeable environment Have high-level communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, and have the ability to establish and maintain trusted relationships with clients and peers Hold a valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or be willing to obtain one Please click the link below to view the position description.
