What You'll Do Work within a team of multidisciplinary engineers and specialists on assembly and integration efforts Build, test, and integrate electro-mechanical assemblies into our world class products Assemble metallic and composite structures, hydraulic systems and machined parts including COTS components Design, prototype, and scale manufacturing jigs and fixtures to improve build and test efficiency Contribute to all stages of the product development and manufacturing life cycle, provide feedback to the engineering team on improvement opportunities Help develop, document, and improve our workflows and documentation Interact with digital ERP system for work order tracking, inventory management, and quality reporting Required Qualifications Solid experience in a manufacturing or service relevant field (automotive / marine, aerospace, industrial equipment) Proficiency in interpreting technical documentation (mechanical drawings, work instructions, equipment schematics, electrical diagrams, etc.) Familiar with fabrication processes, hand tool use, and plastic / metal / composite part assembly Commitment to a high-quality product and strong sense of personal accountability Familiarity with building and maintaining electromechanical systems Very well organised and detail-oriented A sincere commitment to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture Eligibility to obtain a NV1 security clearance (status not required at time of hire) Preferred Experience Experience in mechatronics and robotics (Drones, AUVs, autonomous equipment) Proficiency with electrical debug and installation of software for testing Machining and/or 3 D printing experience Prior experience working with JIRA, Teamcenter (PLM), or Net Suite (ERP) or equivalents Experience with low volume / high mix manufacturing One Last Point Although we list out what we generally look for, we are very likely missing other attributes and skills that you have that could make you a great fit, but are not currently listed.As such, if you are motivated to join a fast moving and exciting business building cutting edge products but don't think you tick all the boxes, take a chance and apply!
