Join one of the country's largest meat and food processing companies, based in Rockhampton. Due to recent movements within the company, a payroll position has become available for an immediate start.
Your new role
In this role you will find yourself carrying out duties including, but not limited to:
* Input of time and attendance information into the SAP and Kronos systems.
* Daily analysis and input of timesheet data for weekly pay runs for approximately 650 employees.
* Creation and processing of employee files, from new starters to terminations.
* Handling various issues, including worker queries, employee verifications, etc.
* Coordination of information to head office payroll, including electronic and paper file.
* Monitor and manage payroll queries as required
* Record and report all payroll requirements to
What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will have the following knowledge and skills:
* High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, with a particular focus on Excel Spreadsheet
* Previous payroll experience within a medium to larger sized company
* Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
* A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Payroll Officer.
* Proficient in using payroll software MYOB
* Strong Verbal and written Communication
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
What you'll get in return
The successful candidate will be offered an immediate start at their Rockhampton location. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, with a total of 38 hours per week. The initial contract is for 6 months with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.
