The Senior BI Analyst will develop tools, systems and processes that support effective analysis and reliable reporting solutions that enable AV to improve performance, be more efficient and to deliver on its strategic objectives.This is a Full Time, Permanent position. While WFH/Hybrid options are available, it is essential that the successful applicant maintains a presence at Blackburn in line with our hybrid working model.About the roleReporting to the Senior Manager Analytics Development, responsibilities of this position include, but not limited to:Undertake and lead development of complex reports, dashboard or analysis relating to relevant aspects of AV operations and activitiesParticipate on strategic projects, both internally and externally to AV, including leading the analytical requirements as a technical expert on project teams, committees, working groups and other forumsLead the delivery of self-service dashboard, application creation and scheduled reporting, including managing the user acceptance testing, product release and maintenance as requiredSupport AV's Information Management program through collaborating on data quality and reference data projects, providing analysis, design, development, evaluation and deployment of business analytics and statistical modellingAbout youTo be considered for this position you will possess:A postgraduate degree or relevant industry certification (or progress toward) with high level relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and sound experienceHighly skilled in one or more business intelligence, data and analysis technical specialties (Power BI, SQL, Python, R, Oracle OBIEE, ETL, RPD) including demonstrated application in a business settingProject and change management certifications including Agile (desirable)Experience in data warehouse, business intelligence implementation and deployment of organisation wide reports and dashboardsExperience in leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and product release managementExperience working with, and analysis of, very large and complex data setsPlease refer to the position description for a full list of position requirements and key selection criteria.Working at Ambulance VictoriaAs a valued member of AV you will enjoy a professional working environment that recognises the importance of work/life balance.
