Administered by the University of Sydney over an initial 3-year period, Quantum Australia is supported by an $18.4M grant from the Department of Industry, Science and Resources, with significant additional financial support from state governments and university partners.A central team will be based in Sydney to support state and territory-based teams Nodes in NSW, VIC, QLD, SA, WA, and the ACT. These Nodes will reside within the other Quantum Australia's partner universities.About the opportunityAs the Ecosystem Development Coordinator, you will work closely with the NSW-based Ecosystem Development Lead and six Ecosystem Development Facilitators across Australia in developing and delivering a national network of programs, events, and resources. You will be an active participant in the burgeoning quantum community, producing and attending events, acting as a connector, and bringing visibility to the activity within NSW and beyond.Your key responsibilities will be to:contribute to a collaborative and dynamic team environment reporting into the Ecosystem Development Leaddevelop and nurture a network of SMEs, corporates, startups, government, and research organisations in the Quantum spaceproduce creative and interesting events including scheduling, coordinating attendees, securing suitable venues and any travel arrangementsbring visibility to the quantum activity happening within the NSW Node and other nodeswork with the partnerships team across Quantum Australia to secure research and economic partnerships.About yourelevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent relevant work experiencedemonstrated experience in coordinating events to facilitate industry/University engagement such as forums, workshops and sandpitsproven stakeholder engagement skills across a diverse range of technical and non-technical stakeholdersexperience in project work in a community capacity building contextability to manage multiple competing prioritieseffective networking and collaboration skills.Work Rights: you must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to apply.
