Our Federal Government client is looking for a APS5 Executive Assistant to join their team in a 14-month temporary role. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level executive support, coordination, and administrative assistance in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Location: ACT Employment Type: Full-time, Non-ongoing (14-month contract) Key Responsibilities - Manage the daily workflow, including extensive diary and email management, scheduling meetings, travel coordination, and handling correspondence.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the FAC, handling confidential and sensitive matters with discretion.
- Prepare and coordinate materials, conduct research, and provide background information for meetings and briefings.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, representing the agency professionally.
- Work closely with the Executive Officer and administrative staff across the department to ensure smooth coordination of activities.
- Provide guidance to other administrative staff and contribute to process improvements.
What we are looking for: Strong organisational and communication skills to manage competing priorities. Proven diary and email management experience for senior executives. The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment. Excellent attention to detail, discretion, and professionalism when handling sensitive information. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to liaise with senior leaders. A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
