About your opportunity
Fixed Term Temporary full-time up to 30.06.2025.
This role will provide project leadership, management, and coordination for the establishment of the North Queensland Kidney Transplant Service (NQKTS).
The position will collaborate closely with the executive sponsor, clinical lead and senior stakeholders to project manage the establishment of what will be just the second kidney transplant service in Queensland.
Working across hospital and health services and reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a senior nurse with strong strategic, analytical and project management skills to manage the establishment of this exciting new service.
Generous remuneration package value up to $15,580 p.m. comprising:
1. Salary range of $5973.00 to $6262.40 p.f. (Nurse Grade 10)
2. Annual leave with 17.5% loading
3. 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.

Requirements
4. Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.
5. Proof of qualification, registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
6. Highly Desirable: Possession of a relevant postgraduate qualification in an appropriate field is highly desirable. Such experience may be discipline specific or have a service area focus.
7. The applicant ideally will have a working knowledge of a range of software packages used in the clinical and management environment, including the Microsoft Windows, Excel, Access, Matrix, and Power Point.
8. This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.
