In this role, you'll:
1. Learn all the skills it takes to be a Train Guard while earning a full-time salary.
2. Help deliver safe and fast travel for our customers - now and into the future.
3. Provide customer service and physical assistance, communicate service information via public announcements and answer enquiries. You will be trained to handle critical incidents or emergency situations.
4. Undertake a six-month paid Trainee Train Guard program which will help you develop the skills and capabilities to become a qualified Train Guard. You’ll learn how to manage a variety of work scenarios through a combination of on-the-job and classroom training. You’ll also receive ongoing mentoring and support from our dedicated trainers and get to know others in your training school cohort.
