About the role
Grampians Health is seeking a suitably qualified GPs to work in either of our general practices (Stawell Medical Centre or Read Street Medical Clinic Horsham).
The practice provides a wide range of general practice services as well as servicing 2 local nursing homes. There are also opportunitiesavailable at Stawell local hospital for additional roles in the Urgent Care Centre and in-patient care.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive, contemporary general practice services to the community of Stawell as a member of the Stawell Medical Centre (SMC) or at Read Street Medical Clinic in Horsham
* Participate in any quality and safety, improvement activities as required
* Meet all AHPRA, AGPAL, speciality College and Grampians Health compliance and accreditation requirements as required
Skills and experience
* Registration as a medical practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia.
* Vocational registration (or working towards Vocational Registration in a timely manner).
* Current medical indemnity insurance
* Demonstrated knowledge of all relevant legislation and common law obligations
* Strong understanding of the Australian Health system
* Commitment to professional development and quality improvement in all aspects of practice performance, including best health care outcomes
* Current driver’s licence.
