This role is responsible forthe administration of contracts by conducting basic reviews with support and guidance from the Project Manager. The role also undertakes a range of administrative tasks, including completingfinancials, maintaining project permits and documentation,providing project completion documents for clients, andcoordinatingactivitiesto ensure the project objectives, scope, budget, quality, and schedule are met or exceeded. The Contract Administrator will report to the Senior Project Manager. Key responsibilities: Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts and subcontracts with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants. Monitor and report on the progress, performance, and compliance of the contracts and subcontracts. Identify and resolve any contractual issues, disputes, or claims that may arise during the project lifecycle. Liaise and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, such as project managers, site managers, engineers, architects, lawyers, and regulators. Maintain and update contract documentation, records, and databases. Provide advice and support on contractual matters to the project team and senior management. Successful applicants must have: 2 years of experience in coordinating commercial construction projects. Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field. Construction White Card or the ability to attain. First Aid Certificate Level 2 or the ability to attain. Certificate III in Workplace Health and Safety or the ability to attain. Demonstrated knowledge and skills in project management methodologies, tools, and best practices. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Strong financial, commercial, and contractual acumen and analytical skills. High attention to detail and quality standards. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, and other relevant software applications. A current driver's license and the ability to travel as required Experience with Procore, Buildlogic or similar Project Management Systems is preferred.
