We are working with our major utility’s client seeking a Support Officer within the service delivery department. This is an initial 6-month contract based in the northern suburbs of Perth.About the role:Perform, coordinate and oversee all Service Delivery administrative duties while providing high level support to the Operations Manager and Team Leads in an efficient and timely manner.Duties/Responsibilities:Proactively coordinate and perform administration support across the Service Delivery team, event scheduling, status of deliverables and diary management.Support Operations Manager & Team Leads to ensure business plan deliverables for Service Delivery are managed and met on time.Guide and influence administrative activities within Operations, involving delegation of work to other administrative roles within the region (Perth Metro Area).Develop the administrative function within Operations and ensure knowledge sharing of Region, Corporate and Group requirements is communicated accordingly.Liaise and coordinate information with external and internal key Region, Business Unit and Service Delivery stakeholders and committees as required.Liaise with PRFS Training Coordinator to ensure team training is up to date and relevant.Promote and encourage a safety culture across the business unit and coordinate relevant Incident Management meetings, agendas, minutes etc. where required.Ensure that all compliance-based activities are completed in a timely and satisfactory manner.Ensure business activities comply with relevant Legislation, Codes of Practice, guidelines and ethical standards. Ensure all policies and plans are up to date and enforced across Service Delivery.Support Ministerials, Priority Ones, Briefing Notes (where relevant to Operations) and undertake liaison as appropriate to ensure accurate and timely provision of required information to allow Business Unit Coordinator to meet timeframes.Key Skills and Experience:Substantial support and administrative experience in a similar role within a large state-wide multifunctional organisation.Sound knowledge of procedures and protocols for Incident, Executive and other Committee Meetings and Forums.Demonstrated capacity to coordinate organisational change initiatives.Demonstrated skills in interpersonal, communication, negotiation and influencing skills.Current WA “C’ class drivers’ licence.
