About the role
The Quality Officer is responsible for the administration for the University’s Quality Framework. This includes internal and external quality audits and reviews.
You will:
1. provide timely and accurate advice to staff about the University’s Quality Framework;
2. monitor changes that are occurring to vocational education and tertiary quality regulatory and compliance requirements;
3. coordinate and administer processes and practices to meet regulatory quality requirements;
4. develop and deliver training programs on the University’s Quality Framework; and
5. maintain current knowledge and understanding of vocational, tertiary and international quality regulatory and compliance requirements, including legislation.

About you
You will possess:
6. understanding of quality management and quality assurance theory and practice as a basis for organisational improvement, particularly in tertiary education.
7. an ability to develop an understanding of legislation, government policy and compliance issues relevant to a multi-sector university.
8. analytical ability and the ability to conduct research, interpret and understand International, Higher Education and VET regulatory requirements;
9. expertise in interpreting policies, procedures and regulations and providing advice to stakeholders; and.
10. communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to influence a diverse range of stakeholders.
