Production, Planning & Scheduling (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Government - State (Government & Defence)In the role of Senior Analyst you will support transport analyses including integrated analysis, integrated performance and insights to deliver transport outcomes for Queensland. Representing the Policy, Planning and Investment Division you will provide technical advice in regard to multi-modal analysis and data. You will also perform analysis of a range of large and complex datasets using analytic software, databases and visualisation software (for example, Alteryx and Tableau).The Transport Analysis Unit provides transport intelligence, data insight and assurance services including modelling, data collection, preparation and analysis, statistical consultancy and survey design.Accountabilities include:Apply multi-modal network performance, reporting and data analysis to develop insights that support policy, planning and investment decision-making across TMR.Provide technical expertise in data analysis and visualisation techniques and tools relevant to transport decision making, including specialist software and programming languages such as Alteryx, Tableau, Python, and SQL.Assistance with coordination and strategic direction for the team, on various aspects of benefit measurement, planning analysis, metric development, visualisation, gathering stakeholder insights, and story-telling.Assistance with coordination and strategic direction for stakeholders on the use of government data and third-party data sources.Prepare visualisations, reports, presentations, and briefings on transport problems, trends, and opportunities to support policy, planning, and investment activities. The communication of complex information to non-technical people both orally and in writing.Consult with stakeholders and incorporate stakeholder feedback in the development of deliverables.
