Headquarters is located in Copenhagen, Denmark with facilities operating all over the world in Europe, America, Asia and Australia.IMMEDIATE START - Permanent Full-Time Position working from our facility at Brisbane - Hendra 4011, you will become part of a strong team with over 8 colleagues (and expanding) within one of the world's leading Maintenance Repair Organisations (MRO) that is approved by the Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority - CASA.Accomplish Non-Destructive Testing operations in the Aircraft wheel and/or brake departments. Guarantee that Non-Destructive Testing Inspection procedures (Eddy Current Inspection, Ultrasonic Inspection, Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection and Magnetic Particle Inspection Methods) of wheel and brake components remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring production and well organised workflows. Assist production teams in meeting daily assembly goals. The Aircraft wheel and brake NDT technician is an integral part of the production process.Cleaning and Non-Destructive Testing of aircraft wheel and brake components in accordance with the applicable approved maintenance data, e.g.o Pre cleaning of components as required to ensure that Non-Destructive Testing procedures can be accomplished.o Visual Inspections / General Visual Inspectionso Eddy Current Inspectionso Ultrasonic Inspectionso Fluorescent Penetrant Inspectionso Magnetic Particle Inspectionso Assigned work under supervision of the workshop supervisor and maintenance manager with all maintenance tasks correctly certified.o Disassembly, Cleaning, Inspection and Assembly of Aircraft Wheels and Brakes to support the maintenance activities.QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIESHigh School Diploma; background in an aviation component technical, engineering or relevant field will be an advantageCompleted vocational training as an aircraft mechanic or equivalent technical vocational training and / or minimum 2 Years experience as an NDT Technician / Aircraft Maintenance NDT Engineer / Aircraft NDT TechnicianQualifications to EN4179 Standard (or equivalent) in Eddy Current Inspection, Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection, Magnetic Particle Inspection and Ultrasonic Inspection methods. NOTE: Not all methods are mandatory.NDT Training and Experience Log Book detailing NDT qualifications and experience to meet EN4179 Standard (or equivalent).Experience in maintenance on aircraft wheels or brakes (Not mandatory)Working knowledge of IT systems, including MS Office, Quantum Control, TRAX etcKnowledge of the aircraft component maintenance or aircraft maintenance / operations proceduresKnowledge of CASA and EASA Part 145 regulationsProven 6 months in the past 24 months work history as a responsible NDT employee in aircraft wheel and/or brake maintenance or aircraft component / aircraft maintenance or technical operationsSKILLSProven experience as an NDT Technician, AME – Mechanical / Structural Aircraft Wheel and Brake Technician in C14 or similar role such as Aircraft Maintenance Engineer / Aircraft TechnicianExperience in using various types of production machinery and toolsOrganisational abilitiesCommunication and interpersonal skillsSelf-motivated with a results-driven approachProblem-solving skillsSpoken and written English language skills mandatoryWHAT WE OFFERPermanent Full-Time employment.Attractive remuneration packages.38-hour week, Monday to Friday 07:00 to 15:21.Overtime available if required however not mandated.All PPE and safety equipment supplied as safety is of no compromise at TP Aerospace.Training where required will be provided where required to successful candidates.Your reward is secure employment in an ever-growing aviation component maintenance repair organisation supporting an inclusive workforce and providing a safe and fun work environment.
