We are currently recruiting for a for a full-time Maintenance Officer to join our Maintenance team based at our ANZAC Village in Narrabeen.

Based in the stunning northern beaches and set within 105 acres of beautifully maintained grounds, you'll be supporting our permanent residents across 800 independent homes including villas, townhouses and apartments.
This is a permanent full time opportunity working Monday to Friday
Responsibilities Include:
* Work as part of a dynamic team to provide reactive and planned preventative maintenance within independent living community
* Work to established best practise and maintain homes to the highest standard
* Working alongside contractors where relevant, ensuring all work carried out to compliance requirements
* Carrying out General maintenance and repairs; this may include patching & painting, replacing globes and all aspects of basic building maintenance
* Ensuring all paperwork, documentation and system processes are adhered to
What we're looking for:
* Trade background preferred or previous experience in a maintenance role, aged care preferable but not necessary
* Liaising with contractors including providing access, organising repairs, and supervising when necessary
* Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail & excellent communication skills
* First Aid/CPR Certificate or willing to obtain this
* National Police Check
* A current NSW driver's license
* Excellent communication skills - including computer/IT literate
* Ability and genuine desire to interact with our senior community on a day to day basis
It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid RSL LifeCare Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role. Clearances must be verified prior to commencing employment with RSL LifeCare.
