Leading Australian Financial Institution Great Career Advancement Opportunity Suit Background in Securitisation, Trustee or Bank Treasury
We are partnering with a leading Australian financial institution to assist them in identifying a Securitisation and Trust Management Professional to join their highly regarded Securitisation team in Sydney.
The role reports into the Head of Securitisation and involves delivering accurate and timely securitisation cashflow and investor reporting, trust financial accounting and assisting the Senior Trust Manager and Head of Securitisation to deliver timely and cost effective securitisation funded outcomes.
Key responsibilities will include the preparation of monthly cashflow and collateral reports and pool selection, monitoring pool parameters, month end reconciliations, general ledger postings and assisting with warehouse sales and term transactions.
Furthermore, you will work with Head of Securitisation, Group Finance and Treasury teams ensure that securitisation transactions are complaint to accounting standards, prudential regulations and trust documentation.
The role will also involve the preparation of investor presentations and provide great front line exposure in investor, bank and ratings agency meetings.
Main areas of responsibility include:
* Prepare month end cashflow reporting, investor reports, RBA reporting and rating agency reporting
* General ledger account and bank account reconciliation
* Monitor securitisation compliance to prudential regulations
* Monitor the securitisation status of Bank’s on balance sheet assets
* Select assets for securitisation transactions
* Complete warehouse sales as directed
* Assist in the due diligence for each securitisation transaction
* Process credit, product & operational changes to Head of Securitisation
* Assist with arrangements for investor and rating agencies reviews
* Assist in the liaison with APRA, investors, rating agencies, trustee, lawyers, and accountants in relation to securitisation matters
* Maintain Securitisation Procedures manual
We are looking for candidates interested in taking the next step in their Securitisation/Trust Management/Treasury career and have experience in the following areas:
* Degree qualified in a financial related discipline with general accounting experience relating to this role.
* 3+ years' experience in Securitisation and/or Trust management gained within either a trustee or securitisation team with a bank or non-bank issuer.
* Alternatively your experience may have been gained in a Treasury team of a major banking or lending institution.
* Advanced Excel and Access skills.
* A strong desire to continue learning whilst maintaining a strong attention to detail combined with an ability to meet deadlines and deliver on responsibilities.
