The Role: We are currently recruiting for a driven and experienced People and Culture Business Partner who is looking to make a difference at an operational level to look after Vic/SA/Tas. This is a permanent full-time role with time split between office and sites. Reporting to the Head of People, Culture and Safety, you will: Provide professional human resources advisory services including interpretation of human resources policies, procedures, employment legislation and management of change to your client group. Ensure that you provide risk-rated advice and empower our leaders to make decisions that are business and team member focused. Develop strong working relationships based on credibility and open communication. Take a coaching approach with our leaders and provide information to facilitate effective, consistent, and empowering people management. Provide advice on employee relations issues, escalate complex matters to the senior PC BP with a fit-for-purpose approach. Analyse trends and metrics in partnership with your client group to develop solutions and programs to maximise potential for achievement of operational and organisational outcomes. Be committed to being part of a high-performance team focused on delivering excellent customer service. Essential Background 3+ years of HR Generalist experience in a blue-collar environment. Experience working in a segmented client advice model or experience providing advice in a multi-site organisation. Ability to manage employee relations matters and escalate high-risk or complex situations when required. Exceptional ability to coach others through times of change while at the same time providing clarity and support. Diploma or Tertiary qualifications in HR, Psychology or equivalent. Experience in WHS will be highly regarded. The role requires a strong on-site presence, with regular visits to our locations to actively address and manage matters. You Will Also Have: Excellent communication skills - written and verbal; superior attention to detail. Ability to act as a confidential sounding board for leaders and team members. Strong work ethic – self-driven with a high sense of urgency and superior time management skills.
