Responsibilities: Your new role: This is a permanent full-time position based in Melbourne, integral to the Survey team, reporting to the Melbourne Survey Manager. The role involves performing and managing survey projects, assisting in resource allocation, engaging directly with clients, and ensuring compliance with WHS procedures. Your key responsibilities include: Assist the Woolpert Survey Manager in the allocation of appropriate resources to deliver major projects Perform various types of surveying tasks both field and office based within a given environment Utilize advanced plan and data interpretation skills to compute survey data, providing insights for project decisions Build and maintain relationships to win work and ensure client satisfaction Lead and mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development aligned with company goals Stay up to date with industry advancements and technologies through seminars and professional development Qualifications: About you: You are a professional in the Survey/Geospatial industry with a strong understanding of Surveying and a passion for developing client solutions that deliver value for both them and Woolpert. You are a creative thinker that draws on Woolpert’s suite of offerings to design innovative solutions to client problems. You bring your experience to contribute to the growth and advancement of the Survey Discipline. Experienced in using CAD software (including but not limited to AutoCAD) and Survey software systems Have a comprehensive understanding of best practise survey techniques and be competent in the use of survey equipment and software systems Passionate for spatial solutions and technology and a strong commitment to personal excellence, with demonstrated self-motivation and resourcefulness What we’re looking for: To be successful in this role you will have prior experience in a similar role together with: University degree or Diploma in a relevant discipline 5 Years practical experience preferably in infrastructure, construction or engineering Strong attention to detail and proficiency in the presentation of topographical survey data or other spatially related disciplines Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams and clients Strong commercial acumen including negotiation and selling skills What’s in it for you?
