The team is responsible for undertaking a multi-year, significant regulatory reform program partnering with multiple departments and regulators.About the roleThe Director is also part of the leadership team of DTF's Economic Group, which supports the Government in growing employment, material living standards and economic activity. In the role you will be responsible for:Provide high-quality authoritative and comprehensive advice to Government and senior management on a range of complex regulatory issues;Draw on expertise to apply economic and other relevant frameworks to public policy issues, and apply a strong understanding of government processes to influence outcomes in line with the department's objectives;Identify and actively manage risks associated with the evolving policy landscape and with specific policy proposals and processes;Build and maintain effective relationships within the Department of Treasury and Finance.
