Position SummaryWe are seeking a motivated Contracts & Procurement Advisor to join our clients team, providing critical support for our onshore Australian projects. Based in their Perth office, this role reports to the Head of Supply Chain and works closely with the Project Team. Key responsibilities include managing contracts and procurement tasks, conducting supplier credit checks, onboarding vendors, validating invoices, and compiling regulatory reports. You will also be involved in sourcing activities, managing requisitions, and processing purchase orders through the Coupa Procure-to-Pay system. Additionally, you'll coordinate the disposal of surplus materials and provide comprehensive support to the wider Supply Chain team.We are looking for a proactive individual with at least 2 years of contracts and procurement experience, ideally in the resources sector. Strong proficiency in procurement software (preferably Coupa) and Microsoft Office is required, along with excellent communication skills and attention to detail. If you thrive in a collaborative, safety-conscious environment and bring a 'can-do' attitude, we encourage you to apply.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide contract administration and support to the Project Team under the guidance of Project Management.Draft and manage contracts and procurement-related correspondence.Perform supplier credit checks and handle vendor onboarding.Review and validate invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance.Prepare Contracts and Procurement reports for submission to regulatory bodies.Conduct sourcing activities, including Requests for Quotation and sole-source negotiations, as directed by the Project Team.Manage requisitions and raise Purchase Orders in the Coupa Procure-to-Pay system, following direction from the Procurement Lead.Coordinate the disposal of surplus project materials in collaboration with the Materials and Logistics Lead.Support the broader Supply Chain team as needed, under the direction of the Head of Supply Chain.Participate in emergency management roles and contribute to emergency response exercises.About YouBachelor's degree in Business or a related field.Minimum of 2 years' experience in contracts and procurement, preferably in the resources industry.Proficiency in procurement software (Coupa preferred) and a high level of skill with Microsoft Office programs.Strong business writing and communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.Experience in contract administration, supplier credit checks, and invoice validation.Ability to raise and amend Purchase Orders using procurement software.Experience in emergency management roles is advantageous.Positive, 'can-do' attitude, with a willingness to assist across projects and the wider organization.Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.High level of initiative, problem-solving ability, and adaptability in a dynamic environment.About usInverse Group’s goal is to help our clients meet the ever-changing environment in all industries across Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia.
