About the Facility: Our client oversees a well-established Renal Unit in North West QLD, offering a range of comprehensive services for renal patients.
The unit features a capacity of 10 dialysis chairs, accommodating up to 48 patients requiring thrice-weekly dialysis sessions.
The facility provides both in-centre dialysis and home dialysis support, alongside outreach services that extend care to remote communities via telehealth consultations .
The Role: As a Registered Nurse in the Renal Unit, you will be part of a team that delivers high-quality care to patients with renal conditions.
Your key responsibilities will include: In-Centre Dialysis : Administering regular dialysis treatments at the hospital, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
Home Dialysis Support : Assisting patients who wish to undergo dialysis at home, providing training, education, and ongoing support.
Outreach Services : Participating in specialist outreach services, including telehealth consultations, to offer continued care to patients in remote and regional areas.
Patient Education : Offering education and support to patients on managing their condition, medication, and lifestyle choices to improve outcomes.
Team Collaboration : Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care and ensure that patient needs are met.

Competitive Pay Rates, Up to : Mon-Fri Day Shift: $72.78/hr Afternoon Shift (12.5% loading): $81.88/hr Night Shift (15% loading): $83.70/hr Saturday Shift (50% loading): $109.17/hr Sunday Shift (75% loading): $127.37/hr What We Are Looking For: To be successful in this role, you will need: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency).
Must Have: Experience in Renal & Dialysis Care Ability to Work Independently : As the Renal Unit serves rural and remote areas, nurses must be capable of working autonomously while adhering to best practice standards.
Flexibility : Ability to work across various shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays, as required.
Excellent Communication Skills : The ability to communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the broader healthcare team.
