About The Role
Due to the continued growth of our Community at Ingenia Lifestyle Freshwater (Burpengary), we have an exciting opportunity for a Grounds & Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. This role will be responsible for the grounds and maintenance team within our Land Lease Community of 276 homes. As a Grounds & Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead a team of Grounds & Maintenance Officers to ensure the community is presented to a consistently high standard, while delivering a high standard of customer service. Ingenia Lifestyle Communities are a collection of unique communities in nature rich locations, designed for our residents to stop waiting and start living!
Responsibilities Lead a team of Grounds & Maintenance Officers Training of the team as required Developing and maintaining a schedule for grounds and maintenance Forward planning for seasonal changes Maintain all public open space areas to a high standard Ensure that all works carried out by Grounds & Maintenance are completed to a high-quality standard and in accordance with instructions Maintain garden beds including pruning, weeding, fertilising, replanting, mulching, and hedging as required Maintain lawns and plants. Regularly check and attend to general repairs to all public areas as required Ensure rubbish bins are collected and emptied Clean and maintain the pool and pool area in accordance with procedures Pressure wash common areas as required, including BBQ pavilions and paths Arrange and administer all repairs and/or maintenance of tools and equipment Ensure there is a maintenance register in place to record equipment servicing and repairs At all times exercise and maintain the highest respect for the residents, guests and team members Assist with setup and pack up of equipment in Clubhouse as required About You Great customer service skills teamed with a positive attitude and a strong attention to detail Demonstrated experience in a grounds/maintenance role Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and direction to other staff and work as the leader of a team Problem solver with a keen eye for detail Driver's Licence Effective time management skills Police Check Culture And Benefits
